WoW Winners!

Wow! Thanks to everyone who joined us this week for the Christmas Card Making Week of Webisodes. I thought Teresa’s cards were so inspiring…and from the amount of email I got this week, you guys thought so too! If you missed this week’s segments (or if you ordered the Money Savers and want to re-watch segments after your goodies arrive), you can still watch them. Simply check out the Webisode Archive. And don’t forget, we have photos and instructions for all the projects in the Project Gallery.

As promised, we’re pulling another round of winners from those whose tips were selected for the WoW countdown. Congratulations to:

  • Brenda
  • Janet
  • Mozie
  • Ruth Ann
  • Aileen

Thanks to all who sent in their tips. Brenda, Janet, Mozie, Ruth Ann and Aileen will get a Christmas Creative Pack and assortment of the new Christmas Dazzles™ in the mail. Enjoy!

Donna:

Sara,
Your week of Christmas Card Webisodes was awesome! I have so many new fresh ideas now and can't wait to get started. One thing I am stumped on is what type of adhesive/glue to use to adhere patterned papers onto cardstock. I seem to have the problem of the cardstock buckling once the glue is dry. I will purchase the adhesive from you guys, along with other products I am sure! I've already ordered the Winter Swirls Clear Template, along with a couple of other things. I love those swirls!

Sara:

Hi Donna,

I use two kinds of adhesive...a glue stick, and double-sided tape. I never use liquid adhesive because of the buckling problem. Instead, I'll apply a little bit of glue stick (just a little!) on the cardstock, then add double-sided tape in the corners of my patterned paper, then put the two together. It holds really well, and means that my cards stay glued together when they arrive at their destination!

Hope this helps and glad you enjoyed the WoW!

Sara
