Webisodes, Webisodes, Webisodes!
This week has been Webisode madness! Sunday we filmed the July Personal Shopper Scrapbooking DVD and nine Webisode segments on things like parchment crafts and corrugated metal, plus masculine projects, wedding projects, more stamping, Multi-Shaper punches and I honestly can’t remember what else. Monday morning we filmed five Webisodes, five more on Tuesday and next week we’ll film another 4. Whew!
The reason for our Webisode frenzy? Well, last year’s Week of Webisodes was so popular we decided to do another one this spring, May 11th-15th….then we thought, wouldn’t it be fun to do a Week of Webisodes devoted entirely to stamping techniques (look for Week of Webisodes Stamp Camp this summer) and then we thought, why not a Cardmaking Week of Webisodes too? (Also this summer.)
At this rate, Weekly Webisodes will be Daily Webisodes! (No, not really!)
Several viewers emailed me this week, commenting on the amount of work that goes into the Webisodes. Let me tell you, sitting down in front of the camera is the easiest part of the whole thing. See these mail totes? Each plastic bag inside each mail tote represents one Webisode segment.
Before we film, Cembe plans each segment, requests projects from our designers, organizes the pieces for the demonstrations (so we can just reach for the stamp and paper, or the partially-constructed card) and bags all the projects, parts, pieces and supplies we need. It makes the whole process go like magic! Then Huston edits the footage and gets the segment ready for the web. Cembe writes the project instructions for the Project Gallery and together the two of them prepare and review all the material each Tuesday night to have the Webisode section of the site up and ready and running smoothly for you on Wednesdays!
I’m sure both Cembe and Huston are really looking forward to Stamp Camp and Cardmaking Week of Webisodes…plus the 5 Days of Christmas WoW we’ll do in late November, did I mention that one too? I think we might need to steal a few more of those mail totes from the warehouse! :-)

Sara,
I can't wait for the webisodes on cardmaking and stamping--and a whole week of each! That last week of webisodes was so great and gave me something to look forward to at the end of a long day at work.
Thanks for all of your hard work,
Dale

I used to get all the Webisodes. I am a very good customer of your company. Now I cannot get them on AOL, Microsoft Internet, Safari or
Modzilla FireFox. Have you changed how you send them. It says I need a MIMI plug - what is that? Is there any way I can still get your Webisodes? I especially LOVE rubber stamping (have over 3000 stamps) so want to be able to view these. Please help me. Thanks. Beverly Barberi (Bevscards@aol.com) Sara - also love you when you are on Scrapbook Memories on TV
