An Update from Down Under!

Three cities in six days sure doesn't give you much time for sightseeing...unless you count the inside of a hotel ballroom or the airport. This week we've done retailer training courses in Brisbane, then flew to Sydney for another session, then to Melbourne for another go. Oh, the glamorous life! (Paulette and I were feeling anything but glamorous as we set up an all-day, 70-person class at midnight on Tuesday!) But as much work as it is, it's such fun to see everyone here: Some old friends and new faces and our good friend Sheila, who's worked so hard to make everything go smoothly. I'm loving Melbourne because I get to spend time with my favorite cousin Jacqui (tonight we're going to a play) and because on Saturday we've got our first-ever event for consumers, with such cool projects and prizes planned! I can't wait!

PS. Next year I promise myself I'll get to Ayers Rock!!!

Sara and Paulette, Thanks for a great day on friday for the "girlfriends workshop" in Melbourne. This was my 4th workshop with both of you but it was extra special as I was able to share it with my mum and a girlfriend.
Looking forward to seeing you next year for another fun filled day. Thanks again.

Hi Sara! You are the traveler girl! I see you're even going to South Africa! Get that passport ready. I was just wondering why or maybe when, you might head up this way to Rhode Island?
Thanks!

Gaynor:

HI Sara & Paulette...with each comment about "girlfriends workshop" I read, I'm more disappointed! I contacted Sheila to book for this event when it was first announced thru Paper Wishes, but then got the news my ankle surgery was scheduled for just one day before. A big decision; attend the day with you guys, or accept the surgery appointment after 5 months living with an injury... I opted to cancel my booking...but look forward to when you are next here in Melbourne... thanks for "everything" you both are doing in the papercraft world!

Delma M Casa:

I enjoy watching your videos and as a former TV producer I know the amount to time and resources that it takes to produce your videos.
The one time I decided to order 2 items featured on one of your video I was completely disappointed with the service provided by "Herrschners" (the company that fills your orders). I got one item weeks after it was ordered ($2.99) item. After waiting two months I called and was informed that the Templates were on back order. Needless to say I cancelled the order... so a $2.99 item turned out costing me $9.00 (with shipping costs). There was no explaination on the part of Herrschners' indicating that the items were on back order.Needless to say I will never order
anything from Paperwishes again. I am not
venting. I just thought that you should know some of what goes on with this company Herrschners' and perhaps forward this information to whoever is in charge of overseeing the ordering/delivery of the items you promote on your videos.

Lynne, I'm so glad you came to Girlfriends Getaway. Tena, I won't be coming to R.I. soon but will be at Wholly Scrap in Manchester, NH on April 28!

Gaynor, I'm sorry you couldn't come to the event but you will be first on my invite list for next year!!!

Hi Delma, I am horrified that you had such a frustrating experience with your order!! That shouldn't have happened. Will you please email me so I can take care of it for you?

I'm at snaumann@hotp.com.
