The News from CHA!
![]()
It’s great fun to travel—and it’s good to be home! The HOTP crew just got back into town from a week in Anaheim, California. First stop: Disneyland! Between 10am and 8pm I think we went on every ride. (I even talked Paulette into the teacups.) After that, we had to get down to business for the show.
CHA-Winter is the BIGGEST crafting trade show of the year, so we were basically booked from morning to night doing classes and presentations and staffing our 70’-long booth...and going to hear Martha Stewart speak! (I love Martha!) Best of all, HOTP was a finalist for 8 awards and won three: Clear & Frosted Overlays, sarapapers and Embellish-abilities and (drumroll, please!) Paper Wishes Weekly Webisodes! Hurray for us! I have to say, though, it does feel good to be home (even with the empty pizza boxes and piles of laundry). By next week I’ll have photos posted in the Photo Gallery. See you then!

Hey, Sara--was that you on the front row of the ride? Paulette behind you? Looks like it was a BLAST! P.S. Was that guy beside you your husband??

Yes, that's me screaming my head off in the front row of Space Mountain (which changed temporarily to "Rockin' Space Mountain"). And yes, that's Paulette and her husband Mike and our Art Director Kyla and our printer Liz behind them. But that's not my husband next to me, it's Paulette's son/my friend Adam! It was a blast, as you can tell! -sara

Sara......
Being new to possible scrapbooking, I need to know what most scrappers do after they're done...do they usually put their pages in a clear sleeve or leave them open?

Hi Alana, when I'm done with my scrapbook pages, I put them back-to-back inside the page protector that comes in the post-bound albums I use. That way my page is kept clean of dust and fingerprints. If you're new to scrapping, you might check out my friend LeNae's website, www.scrapbooking101.net. You can access it from the Paper Wishes website, just go to the bottom of the main screen and look for Scrapbooking 101 under Inspiration. Hope that helps! Or email me at snaumann@hotp.com if you have more questions! -sara
