What’s the Fuss about Doilies??

Greetings!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Something that has recently caught my eye has been how popular doilies have become in our creative world. I’ve seen them in sooo many projects. Funny thing is when I think of doilies I immediately remember my grandmother and how she made fun little things from her doilies. She would make little teacups with saucers underneath and starched them to stay in place. I wished I had a photo to show you!

I recently did a search on the internet just to see how many projects were using doilies and BOY, was I shocked. They are coming up in everything. I wondered why our 8” square white paper doilies have stayed on our “Best Sellers” list week after week. Now I understand!
